Round 4 Donington Park

I

Can’t believe we are now over half way through the season at Britcar and now getting ready for Oulton Park but looking back just a few weeks, Well another Race weekend done!

A weekend of real mixed fortunes again which started on Thursday Test day with a whole day of Red Lights causing so little Track time it’s unreal, as bad as I have ever known it. An exploding air jack on the Ginetta put that on the back foot as well. But thanks to our suppliers and a same day courier with our guys working as they do, it didn’t cost us as much time as the constant reds. Some Brake challenges on the Seat to sort but that will be done. Well race day beckoned qualifying both Cars in the top 4 with only 0.5 of a second between all 4 gave us a race to look forward to. Race 1 started well as it developed some balance issues meant we were a bit off our pace in the Cupra. Unfortunately our race ended early with incident causing extensive damage. The Ginetta, however only lost second place by fractions of a second and a solid third was well earn’t. Well I have got to say the fighting spirit in my guys then was impressive to say the least. They managed to rebuild the Seat and get it on the grid for Race 2 with 2 minutes before the Pitlane opened. And both cars went to the grid. Unfortunately after a flying start from Martin In the TCR Within 20 minutes unfortunately the gearbox proved to have taken an impact in the previous incident gave up so no chance for Ash to get in. The Race was then in for the Ginetta a storming drive from Paul and Graham with Graham a couple of laps from The end pushing hard forcing a mistake from the guy in front to spin and dropping him behind Graham who took the win 🏁🏆🏆🏁 Well done to Our Drivers Ash and Martin and Paul and Graham For there team spirit and to all our guys for there hardwork and determination to succeed always 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻well done all
