Well here we are, coming to the end of a very short but protracted Season. We have one more Race weekend left. Britcar at Snetterton this next weekend.
the Championship is up for Grabs from many directions, we are doing ok in Class 4 in Endurance, The TCR Leon Driven by Ash and Martin is always front of the class 4 cars on Pace and has 2 1sts and 2 2nds this season so far. The Smart Car in Class 5 Driven by owner Rob Baker and guest Driver Jon Packer, is on the pace for winning Trophy there has been a few unlucky DNF’s this Season which has seen it struggle for points at times. But again has had some trophy’s this year including an overall Trophy win at Croft and a few others. Also some more Team News means most of you will now have seen we entered the last Round of Funcup last weekend, it was great for me to back in the paddock and brilliant to able to be there as a team for the 1st time. We weren’t going to enter until the new Season. with a formidable driver pairing and a new colour scheme we went and entered any way. We would have been happy for a top ten finish when we got there. But the guys prep on the car and great pit stops along with the Driver Pairing of Graham Roberts and Martin Byford put us near the top for the whole race. We started 22nd drawn from the hat (by me Unfortunately).
and was up to P2 by the 1st stop. To Sum up finished P4 Very satisfying, and yes we will be back next year.
Also this Season we entered 750MC Club Enduro for a round and did very well to say the least fastest lap and pole by over 3/10ths but that’s for another time. Anyway looking forward to next weekend and hopefully a better year for us all in 2021
